Precautions for pesticide spraying with crop protection drones

  Sometimes for the same crop, adjacent plots of land, some people can't control the disease even if they spend twice as much on medicine and fly prevention fees as others. Why? Clean the crop protection drone before spraying, and ensure that there is no leakage or re spraying of pesticides. Farmers are well aware of this. So are there any "tricks" that need to be paid attention to before, after, and during pesticide spraying by crop protection drones? Today, Jingfei Group will take you to understand these precautions.

  Before administering the medicine

  1. Reduce the sources of pests and diseases

  Clean up diseased leaves, branches, fruits, and even plants (the source of most diseases), take them out of the field and burn them, and the effect of spraying medicine will naturally be better

  Some.

  2. Choose a good time to apply the medicine

  (1) Determine based on temperature changes

  Whether it's plants, pests, or pathogens, they all have a suitable operating temperature, around 20-30, with 25 being the best. Applying pesticides at this time is not only safe for crops, but also effective for active pests and weeds. During hot weather, medication should be administered before 10am and after 4pm;

  During cool weather, medication should be administered after 10am and before 2pm in the afternoon; In winter and spring, it is best to apply medicine in the greenhouse on sunny and warm mornings.

  (2) Determine based on humidity changes

  The deposition of medicinal solution on pests and diseases and the even spreading of the film will be affected by many factors, including the humidity of the air.

  When the air humidity is too high, the deposited medicinal solution will become larger droplets, and under the influence of gravity again, it will deposit to the lower part of the plant

  Thereby causing drug damage;

  When the air humidity is too low, the medicinal solution is prone to evaporation, resulting in a decrease in the amount of drugs that can come into contact with the target, thereby reducing the efficacy of the drug. In severe cases, it can also cause burning lesions. Therefore, the spraying environment should be kept ventilated. Outdoor vegetables can be pruned with some leaves and branches to maintain ventilation and air circulation in the field.

  For greenhouse vegetables, if you apply medicine in the morning, choose to leave the greenhouse open for a period of time. If you apply medicine in the afternoon, choose to apply it half an hour or an hour before closing the air. (3) Determine based on the characteristics of pests and diseases

  To prevent and control whiteflies (which fly away when touched), apply pesticides in the morning before the dew dries, and to prevent thrips, apply pesticides in the morning when flowers bloom; Prevent and control thrips by spraying pesticides in the evening or at night.

  To prevent and control diseases, apply pesticides before and after rain, before watering, on cloudy days, and during the early stages of illness (because many diseases mainly rely on flowing water, wind and rain to spread, not applying pesticides at this time, it is too late to cry when seriously ill). 3. Choose the right pesticide

  If it is to prevent diseases, the first step is to prescribe targeted medication, know what medicine to use for each disease, avoid indiscriminate medication, and recognize the difference between medication for fungal diseases and bacterial diseases; Secondly, medication should be rotated and the same medication should not be used blindly.

  If it is to prevent insects, the first step is to apply pesticides to the insects, taking into account the killing of adults, eggs, larvae or nymphs, in order to reduce the source of insects. Secondly, it is necessary to alternate the use of pesticides and not blindly use the same pesticide to prevent the increase of pest resistance and reduce the efficacy.

  4. Dilute pesticides appropriately

  Dilute the medication according to the instructions, and slightly increase the dosage depending on the severity of the disease or insect occurrence, but it is not recommended to double the dosage.

  If you feel that the efficacy is not good, on the one hand, you can switch to another pesticide with a different mechanism of action, and on the other hand, you can optimize your own spraying techniques. 5. Mixing pesticides should be reasonable

  In the early stages of disease occurrence, therapeutic fungicides are inhaled with protective fungicides.

  When killing insects, a mixture of insecticides with egg killing and adult killing effects can be used.

  Note: Avoid mixing pesticides with the same ingredient, and avoid mixing copper pesticides with alkaline pesticides to prevent drug harm.

  When spraying medicine

  1. Master the operation of crop protection drones

  It is necessary to ensure that the pilots are certified and proficient in operating crop protection drones Grasp the spraying distance and flight speed well

  The nozzle of the crop protection drone should be kept about 1-2 meters away from the crops, and the appropriate flight speed should be set according to the specific operating terrain, crops, and environment. 3. Adjust the spray flow of plant protection UAV

  According to the performance of plant protection UAV and its nozzle, adjust the appropriate spray flow.

  After administering the medicine

  After spraying, it is even more important to closely monitor the development of diseases and pests. After one or two days of spraying, it is necessary to promptly inspect the level of pest and disease control in the field to determine whether another spraying is needed and what kind of spraying is needed. Special attention: Vegetable protection measures should be taken before and after rain, and drainage should be carried out in a timely manner. Attention should be paid to spraying pesticides (protective treatment), cleaning up diseased plants and residues in a timely manner, and reducing the source of infection!
